I feel blessed to even just know about a few extraordinary individuals alive today who have, what I call Level 5 Consciousness in Unity (out of a total of 5 levels). I'd estimate that there are maybe 100 people at this level, and most of them would never make themselves known to the public. The gurus engaged in a public way include the following:
- Dr./Rabbai Gabriel Cousens, author of Spiritual Nutrition: Six Foundations for Spiritual Life and the Awakening of Kundalini (2005), and director at the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center.

- There are lists of other Enlightened Beings, such as Echart Tolle, Osho, Sai Baba, Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta, and Jiddu Krishnamurti. This list also includes many other living contemporaries that I've never heard of.
